Job Description:
If you take on the role of a Part-Time Housekeeper, you will help make sure the property is always clean and comfortable for all of our guests. What you do matters because it affects the experience of every researcher and employee globally. Putting emphasis on being efficient and professional will allow you to keep every area clean and friendly for anyone who visits. Being precise and serious about excellence will help run the guesthouse efficiently. Being positive and dedicated will ensure you help create a friendly place for customers. You will display the hospitality and respect that are important to TRIUMF House. By doing this role, participants help make international visitors feel at home.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public/common areas to high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in outside areas, sidewalks, and stairs.
- Coordinate your tasks based on guest turnover and operational needs.
- Work with minimal supervision and avoid disruption to guests.
- Promptly report guest requests to the Reservations Office.
- Follow all health, hygiene, and safety protocols.

Job Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
- Organized and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (valid through at least June 2026).
- Comfortable working Friday through Sunday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (21 hours/week). Additional days may be required depending on availability and needs.
Salary and Benefits:
Annual Salary: $34,200 – $42,800 (pro-rated based on part-time hours)
