Pay Range: $37.27 to $40.25 per hour (including casual loading). Higher rates apply for weekend and public holiday work (50% extra on Saturdays and 100% extra on Sundays). An Adverse Working Conditions Allowance also applies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Garbage Truck Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Council’s garbage trucks efficiently and safely.
- Conducting waste collection services in adherence to established procedures.
- Complying with all road traffic laws and regulations.
- Performing occasional general laboring duties, as required.

Job Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates should have:
- A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s license (essential).
- Recent experience operating heavy rigid vehicles.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
- The ability to learn quickly and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or valid work visa holder.
